When security apprehended 33-year-old Bandile Shababala for allegedly stealing a chocolate bar, the Ratanda, Heidelberg Shoprite manager allegedly locked him inside a cold storage room.
Community members told News24 that thieves are locked inside the outlet's cold storage as punishment. They are usually released after around 30 minutes, but Shababala was kept in there for 11 hours. His body was found outside an Avbob premises next to the Shoprite on Monday morning.

According to Human Events, a paper by 23 solar physics and climate science experts from 14 different countries concluded that the 16 most prominent datasets of solar output show solar energy is more of a cause for global warming than carbon dioxide.
