Another community member addressed the Mininster of Police Bheki Cele and says that the Saldhana Police department receive leads and they do not follow up on them. Then when the community follows up on the leads the police want to say that they are tampering with the investigation. They have been looking for Joshlin for far too long. She must be found. They are focusing their collective efforts on reuniting Joslin with her family; they continue to support other families who have missing children or family members. And they are partnering with law enforcement agencies to reunite everyone with their loved ones.

Allen says that they are one step closer to finding Joshlin. They trust that the investigation will now unfold in terms of what has happened. They are still keeping hope alive that she will be found unharmed.

The Bothasig Residents Association (BRA) decided to take matters into their own hands and bricked up a known drug house. They bought materials through a fundraiser and local businesses contributed and the goal in to seal the house for more than a year.

The Adam Tas Avenue house’s entrances and windows were sealed using bricks and cement. Ward councilor Miquette Temlett says that the property had been problematic for more than a year and lead to reports from worried residents.
