He started in community radio, built a career in commercial media, and founded Tramakasie Studios, a creative hub for collaboration and storytelling. Two months ago he had a leg amputation due to peripheral vascular disease. To support his recovery and independence, a fundraising concert “Concert In The City” will be held on 18 July 2026 at Cape Town City Hall to raise funds for a prosthetic leg.
